Anyone who has visited the Ashford Baby Memorial Garden will have seen the derelict building behind us.

We have now heard that work on the demolition and creation of flats should be starting shortly. We are very pleased to hear this as the current building is an eyesore!

We understand the Fire Service may be using the building for training purposes, so please don't worry if you see a fire engine outside.

We were really touched that the Contractors, ABC (owned by Ashford Council) contacted us, recognising the sensitivity of the Baby Garden and let us know that there would be no work on a Sunday.

A great big 'Thankyou' to Dayzee and Heather and all the lovely customers at Stanley’s Bar and Coffee Lounge in Dover who raised a magnificent £325 for our charity at their recent Quiz Night.

The winning team of Don, Rick, Katie and Georgia very generously donated their £50 prize to us, which was such a lovely thing to do.

Pictured with our banner are Jo, Heather, Dayzee, Billy and Georgia - we understand Don, another member of the winning team, was too shy to have his photo taken!!!

Thank you to you everyone who supported this event.

If you have been down to visit the Ashford Baby Memorial Garden recently you will have seen that we have had a spring makeover!

A big "thank you" to Rebecca Clark and her wonderful family for all of their efforts!

They added a splash of colour with some lovely bright plants in the raised planter. They also installed wooden stepping stones by the nametimes, which we hope will make it easier for families to access.

The Garden is looking really lovely at the moment, particularly in the sunshine.
