We would like to say a big thank you to Jenny and Amy, the Community Champions at Tesco Park Farm for the donation of an incredible £800 which was raised through their in store book stall.

Thank you to all of the customers and staff that supported the stall. This donation will help us buy prizes for our Smiley Face Tombolas, or pay for the maintenance of the Garden for six months!

Aside from the money, the book scheme also allowed us to publicise our lovely charity in store, helping to raise awareness of what we do, and of baby loss more generally.

We are playing our part in Baby Loss Awareness Week with a stand in Ashford's County Square on Saturday 14 October, from 9am to 3pm. 0We will have information about the Ashford Baby Memorial Garden, and our new memorial areas in Faversham and Canterbury, and families will be able to write their own special message on a wooden heart to go on our small tree. We will also have BLAW pins available in return for a donation.

Our friends at Willow & Green in Ashford will, once again, have a window display and we are aware of a number of ribbon events across Kent, including ones at Faversham, Margate Herne Bay, Aylesford and Victoria Park in Ashford. We will be adding our pink and blue ribbons to the Ashford Baby Memorial Garden as well. For further details https://www.sands.org.uk/get-involved/sands-ribbon-displays

A number of events are being held across the Country, including Waves of Light (some virtual ones) and further details are here https://babyloss-awareness.org/events/

Do, please, think of joining in the pink and blue theme by decorating a window, or adding pink and blue ribbons, to somewhere special to you, to help us raise awareness of baby loss and all the babies who were taken too soon.

Thank you.
