New Nametile Area in Thanet

We have recently opened a small area in Dell Gardens on the edge of Northdown Park

in Margate where families can have personalised terracotta tiles to remember their special babies.

Dell Gardens, which is next to Northgate House, is very pleasant, with an assortment of shrubs and paths and several benches and is well maintained by the council and local gardening volunteers. It is completely accessible, with carparking very close by and is on the route of the 8/8A Thanet Link bus, with a bus stop (Friends Corner) right outside Dell Gardens.

The nametiles are available for a one-off cost of £40 for anyone who would like to remember a baby who died at any time, at any age, and in any circumstances, including during

pregnancy. More information can be found here.

We already have over 550 nametiles in our other memorial areas remembering babies from this year right back to the 1940’s.
